I recently stayed at a hidden gem nestled among fruitbat-filled forest on Mahe island, and I couldn't have been happier with my experience. This hotel provides exceptional value for money, with affordable prices that won't break the bank. The attention to detail throughout the hotel was truly impressive, from the lush gardens to the well-equipped rooms with a kitchen. I particularly loved the location, situated in a quiet area away from the road noise and just a short stroll through the forest to the beautiful beach of Anse La Mouche. The hotel staff were incredibly friendly and provided excellent service, making me feel right at home. And let's not forget the breakfast - a delightful surprise each morning, offering a variety of delicious treats to start the day off right.
Everything was just perfect.

I recently had a fantastic stay at this hotel in Mahe and I was really impressed with several aspects. the value for money was excellent - the prices were very reasonable for the quality of accommodation and service provided. Secondly, I loved the attention to detail throughout the hotel. The rooms were decorated beautifully with handcrafted items, giving a charming and unique feel. The location was also a highlight for me - nestled in a lush garden, it was a peaceful retreat away from the road noise. Plus, it was just a short walk to the stunning beach of Anse La Mouche, surrounded by fruit bat-filled forests. I couldn't have asked for a better location!
All was perfect during my stay at this hotel.

I loved my stay here. The hotel was very clean and well-maintained, with beautiful greenery around. It was just a short walk to some of the most beautiful beaches in the area. The breakfast provided was delicious, with a variety of fruits and homemade jams. The staff were always friendly and helpful, and there was a community kitchen available for guests to use.
Not obvious to find from the main road, but worth it once you arrive.

The location was quite remote as there were no shops or restaurants nearby. we enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere and stunning views of the mountains from the guest house. A bus stop was conveniently located just a few steps away from the entrance. the community kitchen was well-equipped with everything we needed to prepare a small dinner.
Our room was not up to our expectations. the bathroom was quite dated and in need of renovation, and the towels provided were not properly cleaned and quite stuffy.

We had the most romantic and peaceful escape here! The fresh and delicious breakfast served every morning was the perfect start to our lazy days. The comfortable and cozy room with a beautiful en-suite bathroom had everything we needed. We also appreciated the shuttle service that allowed us to explore the island without any hassle.
The solar panels to heat the water were a bit unpredictable and we sometimes ended up with a cold shower. the sockets were Italian two-pin type and not ideal for all our devices.

Despite the older decor, the beds were comfortable and the room was clean. the garden was lovely with plenty of wildlife. the owner was friendly and offered plenty of local tips and recommendations. As a bonus, the guest house is located near public transportation stops and many great eateries.
The air conditioning was not as powerful as we had hoped and made it difficult to sleep with the room being a bit too warm for our liking. the noise level from the busy street outside made it hard to relax and enjoy the peaceful garden.
